About the Role
This position is designed to help the Credit Union achieve its mission by sharing in the financial success of our members through the delivery of outstanding service. You will serve as a vital link between the institution and our community, assisting both internal and external members with their financial needs. Your day-to-day will involve explaining services, setting up new deposit and loan accounts, and resolving problems with diplomacy and tact. You will represent the branch in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, and other financial groups, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to member loyalty and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleTake member loan applications and prepare them for review by a Loan Officer
- check_circleAssist members with establishing new accounts and changes to existing accounts
- check_circleReceive and process member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
- check_circleIdentify member needs and cross-sell Credit Union services to members
- check_circlePerform quality control of account and loan documents
- check_circleBalance daily transactions with a minimum of errors
- check_circleEnsure compliance with Credit Union policies and regulations
- check_circleProcess approved loans and schedule closings and disbursements
- check_circleResolve member problems and answer account-related questions
Requirements
- verifiedOne year to three years of similar or related experience
- verifiedHigh school education or GED
- verifiedAble to operate a 10 key calculator
- verifiedWorking knowledge of Microsoft Products
