We have an immediate opening for an experienced Meeting & Event Planner to join our team at the NCAA Conference Center in Indianapolis, IN. This role is critical to managing all aspects of NCAA meetings and events, from contracting and planning to execution and reconciliation.
In this position, you will partner with clients and client groups to organize and coordinate logistics for internal meetings and events. Your day will involve planning space allocation, room sets, catering, and audio-visual needs at hotels, with required on-site event management. You will serve as the primary liaison, building strong relationships with NCAA staff, in-house catering, AV vendors, and external hotel sales managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
You will utilize exceptional customer service capabilities, including active listening, negotiation, and creative problem-solving. As a key team player, you will be expected to be flexible, multi-task, and cross-trained to assist in other departments or handle tasks outside your typical scope when the situation demands it.
