About the Company
TLC Medical Transport is the leading non-emergency medical transportation company in San Diego. Based in Mission Valley, our central location allows us to serve all areas of the county efficiently. We are contracted with all major health systems and hospitals in the region.
We are currently expanding our operations by launching a new BLS Ambulance division and are seeking staff with clinical experience to support this growth.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the medical field as a Wheelchair or Gurney Driver. The role involves transporting patients safely and professionally, requiring a thorough knowledge of San Diego County traffic patterns and reliable navigation tools such as a GPS or Thomas Guide.
You will be part of a team that values organization, clear communication, and exceptional customer service. The position offers flexibility, with schedules ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week, including weekends. Prior experience as a driver is a plus, but a strong commitment to safety and service is essential.
Hiring Process
Selected candidates will be required to attend First Aid and CPR certification training. The hiring process includes a criminal background check and drug testing. Applicants must provide prior work references.
