As a Medical Technologist, you will be a vital part of our Laboratory team, performing accurate testing and recognizing abnormal or unusual results to ensure patient safety. Your work involves reporting timely results through various channels, managing instrument checks, and maintaining quality control standards. You will apply your knowledge of disease processes to testing and results, while also assisting with staff training, supply inventory, and performance improvement initiatives.
This role requires the ability to multitask and organize priorities to complete assignments efficiently. You will be responsible for the safe handling of specimens, troubleshooting equipment, and communicating critical results to care providers. Additionally, you will engage in laboratory communications and staff meetings, ensuring that departmental policies and procedures are followed with precision.
Candidates who have completed a NAACLS accredited program within the last six months and are eligible for the national board exam are encouraged to apply.
