About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Technologist (ASCP) to join an acute care hospital laboratory team in Overland Park, KS. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of patient care through the execution of pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic laboratory procedures in strict accordance with CLIA standards.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Blood Bank experience within an acute care environment. You will handle blood and body fluid specimen testing, ensure rigorous quality control, troubleshoot complex issues, and actively support laboratory operations and training initiatives. This position offers a dynamic day-to-day environment where you will correlate abnormal lab data with pathological conditions, investigate unexpected results, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Shift Information
This is a full-time position scheduled for nights with rotating weekends. An optional schedule is available for Thursday through Sunday night shifts.
