About the Role
As a Travel Medical Surgical Unit RN, you will deliver high-quality bedside care across diverse acute-care settings. This role exists to provide comprehensive assessments, administer medications, manage IVs, perform wound care, and coordinate care plans for adult med-surg patients. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, documenting in modern EHR systems while educating patients and families to promote optimal recovery.
In this position, you will not only provide direct patient care but also help cultivate a culture of empowerment, transparency, and continuous improvement by precepting and supporting fellow nurses and ancillary staff. Your work will involve monitoring vital signs and lab results, escalating concerns promptly, and coordinating transitions of care, including discharges and transfers.

Candidates with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or 1–2 recent years of acute care medical-surgical RN experience are highly valued. You must also be able to obtain additional state licenses for travel assignments as needed.
