Penn Medicine - Becker ENT & Allergy is a fast-growing, multi-specialty practice with locations throughout Philadelphia and Central and South Jersey. Our diverse staff includes otolaryngologists, audiologists, facial plastic surgeons, allergists, speech-language pathologists, and nurse practitioners, all dedicated to providing specialized care for a wide range of health problems.
About the Role
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Central Jersey location. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong customer service skills who thrives under pressure. As one of our Medical Receptionists, you will set the tone for our patients, serving as the first point of contact in our practice. This is a full-time opportunity within a rapidly growing organization that offers significant room for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleObtain and enter patient demographic information into the Epic System
- check_circleSchedule appointments for new and return patients
- check_circleAnswer incoming calls regarding scheduling and prior authorizations
- check_circleAssist providers with medical procedures
- check_circleTake patient vital signs and input data into the EMR System
- check_circleKeep the front reception area clean and tidy
- check_circleGreet patients and vendors at the front desk
- check_circleCheck patients in and out and room them for appointments
- check_circleEnsure patient rooms are fully stocked and organized
- check_circleMaintain daily opening and closing checklists
- check_circlePerform clerical duties including scanning charts and follow-up calls
- check_circleMonitor office supply levels and inform the Office Manager
Requirements
- verified1 year Medical Receptionist experience (Preferred)
- verified1 year Medical Assistant experience (Preferred)
- verifiedCOVID-19 vaccination and booster or qualified medical/religious exemption
Nice to Have
1 year of experience as a Medical Receptionist. 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
