As the Medical Lead Veterinarian, you will be the champion of medical excellence in your hospital. This is a key leadership role where you set the standard for clinical quality while continuing to practice as an associate veterinarian. You will mentor and develop your associate veterinarians, partnering with the Practice Manager to build a healthy, engaged team and drive the continuous improvement of patient care and client service.
You will lead monthly doctor meetings to discuss best practices and new services, supervise externship and mentorship programs, and serve as an ambassador for Mission Pet Health through community engagement. In partnership with the Practice Manager, you will help develop the annual operating plan and manage hospital financial performance. Your impact will be felt through fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and retention, ensuring the highest quality of medicine and efficiency for our patients.
