Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and mentor associate veterinarians through performance discussions and coaching
- check_circlePartner with the Practice Manager to develop the annual operating plan and manage hospital financial performance
- check_circleEnsure compliance with all medical and DEA regulations
- check_circleLead monthly doctor meetings to discuss best practices, new services, and medical standards
- check_circleServe as a hospital ambassador through community engagement at schools, universities, and local events
- check_circleSupervise externship and mentorship programs while championing a culture of recruitment
- check_circleSet clinical quality standards and practice as an associate veterinarian to achieve production goals
Requirements
- verifiedDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- verifiedValid state license in good standing
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience
- verifiedProficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
