This position is located at the Dell Children's facility in Austin, TX, within the Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus department. You will work in a customer service capacity, providing essential administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting. Your day-to-day involves greeting patients and visitors, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and obtaining necessary documentation. You will verify and enter demographic information, handle insurance authorizations and precertifications, and manage medical record release requests. Additionally, you will schedule and confirm patient appointments, enter and submit charges for procedures, collect co-payments, and reconcile daily reports and deposits to ensure accuracy.
