About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and visionary Medical Director to lead our Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic Surgery (CVT) program within a high-performing hospital-based physician group in Arlington, VA. This role uniquely combines clinical practice with strategic leadership, overseeing the quality, growth, and integration of the CVT service line.
In this position, you will drive the visibility and reach of the Cardiovascular Surgery Program through community education and outreach, developing a regionally integrated Cardiac Care network. You will champion financial sustainability by implementing cost-effective practices that benefit patients, staff, and the broader health system across the office, CVICU, and CV Stepdown Unit. Additionally, you will collaborate with administrative and business development teams to support the strategic growth of cardiovascular services, including new facilities and service lines aligned with VHC Health's mission and long-term vision.
