About the Role
The Medical Director serves as the strategic and clinical leader for the center, ensuring the seamless coordination and oversight of all medical care and quality services. This role exists to bridge the gap between high-level organizational goals and day-to-day clinical operations, guaranteeing that patients receive consistent, high-quality care while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
In this position, you will not only provide direct patient care within the clinic's scope of practice but also lead the medical team through complex challenges. Your day will involve analyzing clinical results, managing quality assurance initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will act as a key partner to the executive team, driving the development of clinical policies, overseeing peer reviews, and leading governance committees focused on medical records, infection control, and adverse event management.
The Medical Director is the primary advocate for the clinic's clinical standards, responsible for supervising risk coding, HEDIS metrics, and the professional development of group providers, advanced practice nurses, and physician assistants. Whether addressing emergency issues, handling patient complaints, or guiding the recruitment of new talent, you will ensure the facility operates at the highest standard of medical excellence.

Requirements
- verifiedMD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine
- verifiedAt least 2 years of experience as a primary care physician

- verifiedAt least 2 years of experience working with a multicultural patient population
- verifiedUnrestricted license to practice medicine in the selected state
- verifiedBoard certified in one of the primary care specialties
- verifiedAdvanced English proficiency
