The Medical Claims Coordinator serves as a vital contact point for the Medical Claims Unit and the Assigned Claim Unit. In this role, you will provide technical support to ensure the proper and timely disposition of claims. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our claims processing operations by managing the lifecycle of medical bills and maintaining accurate records.
Your day will involve a blend of administrative precision and system management. You will utilize computer systems to handle keying functions, including drafting letters, logging entries, recording time, and creating diaries. A significant portion of your focus will be reviewing medical bills to verify their validity, processing them through fee schedules where applicable, and issuing payments as warranted. Success in this position requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all medical claims processing systems to navigate complex scenarios effectively.
