As a Medical Assistant, you will serve as a vital link between patients and the clinical team, assisting in examinations and treatment under the direction of physicians and clinicians. This role is designed to support comprehensive patient care management by blending hands-on clinical duties with essential administrative functions. You will be the face of the practice during check-ins, the voice on the phone, and a key partner in ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations.
In this position, you will manage a dynamic day-to-life that includes preparing and administering medications and immunizations, performing vital signs, and collecting specimens for laboratory analysis. You will also play a critical role in patient education, communicating significant changes in patient conditions to the medical team, and ensuring all medical records are accurately documented. Beyond clinical tasks, you will handle billing reconciliation, process insurance authorizations, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and work areas.
We value a collaborative environment where team members work effectively together to deliver clinical excellence and high-quality service. As a Medical Assistant, you may have the opportunity to float between various Primary Care Centers, adapting to different team dynamics while maintaining a consistent standard of care. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential as you navigate the fast-paced nature of a physician office.
Candidates with prior medical assistant experience in a physician practice or those with extensive continuous experience (25+ years) are encouraged to apply. We also welcome candidates who can meet our certification requirements within six months of hire. Please note that fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred to best serve our diverse patient population.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, ensuring that our team reflects the community we serve.
