As a Medical Assistant at Proliance, you will serve as a vital patient care coordinator and advocate. Your primary mission is to ensure an optimal patient flow and experience while maintaining clinical supplies and accurate documentation in strict adherence to OSHA, WISHA, and other regulatory guidelines. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
In this position, you will act as the bridge between patients and providers. Your day will involve arranging exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and collecting laboratory specimens. You will obtain vitals and patient histories, assist providers during procedures using aseptic techniques, and report test results to patients in a timely manner. Beyond clinical duties, you will manage phone triage, post-operative calls, and coordinate care with other facilities, ensuring that every patient interaction is handled with integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
