Medical Assistant - School Based Health Clinic

UNM Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our School Based Health Clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time, day shift role operates on a 10-month contract (August 2026 – May 2027) with a 1.0 clinical FTE schedule (5 days a week). We aim to fill this position prior to August or as soon as possible.

The UNMMG School Based Health Center (SBHC) Program provides integrated medical and behavioral health services across six Albuquerque Public Schools. Co-sponsored by the UNM Medical Group and UNM Health Sciences Center, our mission is to support schools, families, and communities in addressing the social, physical, and emotional needs of students. By connecting students to a larger healthcare system that serves as a medical home, we focus on preventive care and educating youth on healthy lifestyle choices. Our ultimate goal is to enhance healthy youth development and reduce barriers to learning.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic organization that has grown significantly since 2007, forming strong partnerships within the UNM Health system.
