We deliver an effective, connected system of care for adult and pediatric patients across 28 practice locations in eastern Massachusetts. Our entire team of providers—including physicians, advanced practice nurses, and ancillary clinicians—works collaboratively with a value-based philosophy, both within our group practice and with hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing facilities.
Our vision is to transform care and improve lives by building trust, understanding, and shared decision-making with every patient. Join us to discover the meaning behind our core values: Caring. Connecting. Growing together.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our clinical team, assisting clinicians with routine clinical procedures and tests in the exam room. Your role is designed to ensure the smooth flow of patient care, from the moment a patient arrives to the completion of their visit.
In this position, you will advise patients on preparation and testing required for exams, ensuring all pre-visit work is completed and that lab and other test results are available in the electronic medical record (EMR). You will provide direct clinical support to assigned clinicians, preparing patients for examination by measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse rate, weight, and height. Additionally, you will perform point-of-care testing (e.g., strep, urine, hCG, and glucose) and assist with reconciling medications and setting up pending refills.
