About the Role

As a Medical Assistant at the Bloch Radiation Oncology Pavilion, you will be the vital link ensuring the efficient flow of patients through our specialized care setting. Your role is defined by a commitment to providing exceptional, culturally sensitive customer service while supporting the interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality radiation oncology care.

In this full-time position, you will facilitate the examination and treatment process by preparing patients for their visits, performing limited clinical procedures, and assisting physicians and nurses with specialized tasks. Your day-to-day impact extends to coordinating patient care plans, managing diagnostic test scheduling, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of exam rooms. You will also handle essential clerical duties, including patient registration, insurance processing, and the accurate documentation of patient history and vital signs in medical records.
