This position serves as a vital support pillar within our clinical team, assisting physicians and clinicians in delivering comprehensive patient care. The Medical Assistant acts as a bridge between administrative efficiency and clinical excellence, ensuring that every patient interaction is seamless, accurate, and compassionate.
In this role, you will manage the full spectrum of patient flow, from the moment a patient checks in to the finalization of their care plan. Your day involves a dynamic blend of clinical duties—such as administering medications, performing immunizations, and collecting specimens—and administrative responsibilities, including managing billing, verifying insurance, and maintaining precise medical records. You will be the first point of contact for many patients, requiring you to communicate complex health information clearly while maintaining a supportive and professional demeanor.
We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where clinical excellence and high-quality service are the standards. As a member of our team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of our primary care centers. We value adaptability and teamwork, offering opportunities to float between various centers to support our growing patient base. Our culture thrives on strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with grace.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience along with current certification, or 5 years of experience combined with specific clinical licenses (such as LPN, EMT, or Paramedic). Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred to best serve our diverse community. Please ensure your application highlights your relevant clinical certifications and your experience in both patient care and administrative coordination.
