About the Role

Join our amazing team at Summerville Colorectal Surgery as a Medical Assistant. We are seeking a phenomenal addition who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. This full-time role (Monday - Friday, days) offers a schedule with no nights, no on-call duties, no weekends, and no holidays.

You will be the clinical expert ensuring all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. Your day will involve preparing patients for examination and treatment by taking histories and vital signs, and preparing exam rooms with necessary instruments, including sterilization. You will assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, administer injections, and support lab testing and phlebotomy. Additionally, you will serve as a first point of contact by answering calls and screening for referrals.
