About the Role
As a Travel Med Surg RN, you will deliver high-quality bedside nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple medical-surgical units. This role is designed for adaptable professionals who enjoy variety and are eager to bring their expertise to different healthcare settings. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate safe and efficient patient care from admission through discharge.
In this position, you will adapt quickly to new hospital systems, workflows, and electronic health records while maintaining the highest standards of clinical judgment. Your day-to-day involves comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, managing complex wound care, and educating patients and families on their health journeys. Whether responding to emergent situations or participating in interdisciplinary rounds, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care and patient safety.

Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s) or compact RN license
- verifiedMinimum of 1–2 years recent acute care Med Surg RN experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred or required by many facilities
- verifiedAbility to pass facility-specific credentialing and background checks
- verifiedExperience with common EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) preferred
