About the Role
As a Travel Med Surg RN, you will deliver high-quality bedside nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple medical-surgical units. This role is designed for adaptable professionals who enjoy variety and are eager to make a difference in different healthcare settings. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate safe and efficient patient care from admission through discharge.
In this position, you will adapt quickly to new hospital systems, workflows, and electronic health records while maintaining the highest standards of clinical judgment. Your day will involve comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, managing complex wound care, and educating patients and families on their health journeys. Whether responding to emergent situations or participating in interdisciplinary rounds, you will be a vital link in ensuring continuity of care.

Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s) or compact RN license
- verifiedMinimum of 1–2 years recent acute care Med Surg RN experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- verifiedAbility to pass facility-specific credentialing and background checks
Nice to Have
Current ACLS certification, experience with common EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech), and travel nursing experience.
