Mission

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chassis/Semi-Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is critical to ensuring that intermodal chassis meet rigorous safety and operational standards, keeping the supply chain moving efficiently.

About the Role

As a Chassis/Semi-Trailer Mechanic, you will be the backbone of our maintenance operations. Your day-to-day involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining intermodal chassis, with a specific focus on braking systems, lights, suspensions, landing gear, tires, and structural components. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) and DOT inspections, and collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely and effective repairs.

This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality work. You will operate power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment in a safe and efficient manner, often working outdoors in various weather conditions. The role also includes welding, cutting, and fabricating parts as necessary, as well as completing accurate repair documentation and work orders.
