Odyssey Systems is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem. We streamline defense acquisition and sustainment by integrating layered defense systems—from equipment and technology to data and business operations—to meet the military's operational needs. Our mission is to engineer the technical battlefield with domain-specific proficiency to ensure lethality, while fostering a workplace built on employee care and our core values of commitment, ambition, and respect.
Through OdysseyCares, our philanthropic group, we live out these values by giving back through direct donations, employer matching programs, and volunteering events.
Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Mechanical Engineer to support an Air Force acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Armament Directorate Munitions Division (AFLCMC/EBH) at Hill Air Force Base, UT. In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will serve as a critical partner in the acquisition lifecycle, ensuring weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment meet program objectives for cost, schedule, performance, and compliance.
You will work onsite at Hill AFB, potentially on a 9/80 work schedule, collaborating within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support mission execution. Your day-to-day involves applying advanced engineering principles to technical efforts, assisting with complex analysis in areas like statics, dynamics, tribology, and fluid dynamics, and supporting the generation of technical data packages. You will provide technical inputs to briefings and reviews that directly support government decision-making, ensuring that engineering design, testing, and material standardization align with program goals.
Interested candidates should submit their application through the Odyssey Systems career portal. The selection process will evaluate qualifications including US citizenship, active Secret clearance, and relevant engineering experience. Final compensation is determined by factors such as contract labor categories, work experience, skills, geographic location, and certifications.
Odyssey is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
