Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support an Air Force acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Armament Directorate Munitions Division at Hill Air Force Base, UT. In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&S) role, you will provide critical mechanical engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle. Your work will ensure weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment meet program objectives for cost, schedule, performance, and compliance.
As a key member of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), you will partner with government stakeholders to drive mission execution and program success. You will apply advanced engineering principles to technical efforts, assisting with complex tasks ranging from statics and dynamics to fluid dynamics and thermodynamics. Your expertise will be vital in generating and interpreting technical data packages, supporting testing and evaluation, and providing technical inputs for government decision-making briefings.
This is a full-time onsite position. While the primary schedule is onsite, a 9/80 work schedule option may be available. Travel may be required at the customer's discretion.
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors, including Federal Government contract labor categories, contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
