As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide comprehensive programmatic, administrative, and engineering support for HM&E systems within the Auxiliary Machinery Systems Division of the NSWCPD. This role is critical to ensuring the operational readiness of naval vessels by managing the life cycle of auxiliary machinery.
Your day will involve providing in-service engineering for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (AC/R), Combat Support, Life Support, Ventilation, and Compressed Air Systems. You will be responsible for reviewing preliminary and detail designs, identifying discrepancies between installation drawings and actual vessel configurations, and conducting pre- and post-installation ship checks. Additionally, you will actively participate in the NSWCPD System Engineering Program (SEP), attending meetings, completing action items, and supporting systems engineering tools and processes.
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to possess an active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who align with our mission to support the warfighter and who demonstrate the technical expertise required for Navy Ship Auxiliary systems.
GreenXT is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce. We believe that our strength lies in the unique perspectives and backgrounds of our employees.
