Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform detailed structural analyses to support all phases of programs
- check_circleGenerate test plans required to validate analyses and verify hardware compliance
- check_circleAnalyze test data to validate and correlate models and generate mechanical loads
- check_circleCoordinate and lead technical peer reviews ensuring technical accuracy of work product
- check_circlePresent results to internal stakeholders and external customers
- check_circleGenerate detailed archival technical reports
- check_circleTravel to test sites to support test or design discussions
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in STEM
- verifiedMinimum 2 years relevant experience (or advanced STEM degree)
- verifiedExperience with PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS, or equivalent
- verifiedWorking knowledge of mechanical principles
- verifiedActive and transferable U.S. government security clearance (Secret)
- verifiedU.S. citizenship
Nice to Have
5+ years of professional experience in stress/structural analysis. Experience in structural testing including planning, organization, execution, data reduction, and correlation. Experience with solid modeling CAD tools such as CREO or equivalent. Experience with Matlab. Experience presenting to external customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel to government and other facilities. Advanced degree in STEM disciplines. ABET accreditation.
