MARS Solutions Group is partnering with an industry-leading automation company in Milwaukee, WI, to find an experienced Mechanical Designer. This organization is known for respecting a traditional work week and prioritizing job security, often extending contracts for high-performing talent.
This position is central to the development of high-current and high-voltage power conversion and Motor Control Center (MCC) products. The Mechanical Designer will act as a bridge between engineering concepts and physical reality, creating and maintaining the mechanical CAD drawings that drive the product lifecycle. You will work within large mechanical assemblies containing 200+ components, ensuring every design meets rigorous standards for quality, safety, manufacturability, and cost.\n Your day-to-day involves collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to update product designs and documentation. You will be responsible for managing Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Notices (ECN), ensuring that all technical records remain accurate and compliant with established procedures. This role offers the stability of a traditional schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with a six-month contract duration that frequently extends for those who demonstrate value.

Experience working with power distribution equipment (240-690V AC systems). Experience with Pro-E CAD modeling. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems. Technical CAD training or equivalent hands-on experience.
Skills: Creo, Pro/e, Autocad, Cad, Sap, Erp, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Plastic Forming, Machining Processes.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
