About the Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will operate under the direction of the Director of Engineering to drive new product development, mechanical design, and product improvements. This role serves as a technical hub, leveraging a variety of engineering disciplines to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering team, Product Management, Marketing, and customers to define requirements and develop cost-effective, innovative solutions.

Your day-to-day involves leading engineering projects that span the company's full range of technology and product areas. You will design and develop complete devices that integrate mechanical and electronic components, creating solid models and drawings for assembly, tooling, and fixturing. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to performing Finite Element Analysis on high-stress components and conducting Design-for-Manufacturing reviews to ensure alignment with assembly capabilities. You will also work with internal and external vendors to create and test functional prototypes, while guiding the design team and providing expertise on PCB layout and electronic circuit simulation.
