At GFL, our goal is to invest in our people and provide opportunities to grow for life. Our employees are affectionately known as "Team Green," a name that unites us all under our shared purpose of providing sustainable solutions to enable our customers and communities to be GREEN FOR LIFE!
As a Service Technician, you will be the backbone of our operations, safely operating, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. Your work ensures our fleet—including environmental trucks, tractor trailers, tanker trucks, and vac trucks—remains capable of operating safely every day.
You will diagnose equipment and engines using company-supplied service tools, performing comprehensive mechanical, electrical, A/C, and hydraulic work. A key part of your day involves communicating detailed results of diagnoses and parts lists to our service coordinators while maintaining a clean and organized work area. You will put away tools and clean bays at the end of each shift, ensuring we are ready for the next day's challenges.
We thank you for your interest. Please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted. This hiring process may utilize machine-based systems to assist in screening and assessing applicants; however, final selection decisions are made by our recruitment team.
