Providence Community Health Center (PCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has served the community since 1968. With 500 employees, we provide comprehensive care to 80,000 patients through our network of neighborhood-based clinics throughout Providence, Rhode Island. Our patient-centered medical homes are designed to be more than just clinics; they integrate behavioral health clinicians on-site and offer access to a wide range of specialties including labs, X-rays, podiatry, optometry, rheumatology, asthma/allergy, and dental care.
About the Role
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) with a heart for community health to join our Primary Care Outpatient Clinic in Providence. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to bring quality care to an underserved population while collaborating with a diverse team of physicians, behavioral health clinicians, community health advocates, nurse practitioners, and medical leadership. As a clinician, you will lead a dedicated team of an RN and a Medical Assistant, grow a patient panel aligned with your clinical interests, and enhance your cultural competency while working with our multi-cultural patient population.
The position is full-time, structured as four weekdays in the clinic with one administrative day worked remotely. There are no weekend requirements. This is a chance to practice in an innovative environment that values service and leadership.
