We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to join our committed and caring team. This role exists to conduct radiologic procedures that provide critical data to assist in patient diagnosis. You will be the face of our department, where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued. Your day will involve operating x-ray equipment, performing x-ray therapy under the supervision of a Radiologist, and explaining complex procedures to patients while addressing their concerns. You will utilize your knowledge of age-specific needs to position patients, administer contrast materials safely, and mentor new staff members. In this role, you will practice radiation protection techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff, while utilizing computerized documentation systems to monitor and record patient data.
