The University of Pittsburgh Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, in partnership with UPMC, seeks an outstanding academic physician and early-stage clinician-investigator to join the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound. This dynamic team of 27 faculty members, supported by advanced practice providers, certified diabetes educators, and perinatal nurses, is dedicated to advancing maternal and fetal health through a balanced integration of clinical excellence and scholarly inquiry.
The Division supports a fellowship program accepting three fellows annually and offers robust opportunities for faculty development through the University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Faculty are encouraged to pursue individual academic career development, with clinical and research activities tailored to the candidate's background and interests. The role offers a broad clinical scope, including antepartum coverage, labor and delivery, obstetrical ultrasound, telemedicine, prenatal diagnosis procedures, and perinatal consultation.
The position is anchored by the Magee-Womens Research Institute, the world's largest independent research institute focused solely on women's health. Scientists there engage in research spanning reproductive biology, development, and diverse aspects of women's health. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the research and clinical activities of the busy Center for Advanced Fetal Diagnosis.
