The University of Pittsburgh Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, in partnership with UPMC, seeks an outstanding academic physician and early-stage clinician-investigator to join the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound. This division comprises 27 faculty members, 5 Advanced Practice Providers, 6 Certified Diabetes Educators, and 8 Perinatal Nurses. The team supports a fellowship program approved to accept three fellows annually and offers a robust environment for balancing clinical and scholarly activities.
Candidates will have the opportunity to engage with the Magee-Womens Research Institute, the largest independent research institute in the world focused solely on women's health. The institute's scientists explore reproductive biology, development, and diverse aspects of women's health. Faculty can leverage the University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Science Institute programs and the university's commitment to faculty development. The role offers a broad clinical scope, including antepartum service, labor and delivery coverage, obstetrical ultrasound, telemedicine, prenatal diagnosis procedures, and perinatal consultation, with significant opportunities for collaborative clinical research tailored to the candidate's background and interests.
