The Role
In this position, you will serve as a strategic partner within the supply chain ecosystem, ensuring the appropriate level of supply for assigned products. You will translate customer and financial requirements into actionable forecasts for Operations and Procurement, aligning forecast assumptions with segment forecasters to maintain business continuity.
Your day-to-day involves governing demand consumption rates, providing early warnings on supply issues, and working closely with the supply chain to correct imbalances cost-effectively. You will establish demand shaping programs during periods of supply shifts and manage product transitions to avoid delivery delays and excess inventory. Success in this role requires analyzing the supply-demand relationship to determine appropriate lead times and collaborating with product launch teams to ensure accurate forecasting at market introduction.
