Material Handling General Labor

About the Role

The Material Handling General Labor position is the backbone of our facility's daily operations, supporting the movement, organization, and storage of materials. This role exists to ensure accurate product flow and maintain a safe, organized environment within a cold, dry setting (25–48°F). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment, demonstrating reliability and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks while adhering to strict safety and operational procedures.

Day in the Life

You will be on your feet for 8–12 hours, performing repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 110 pounds. Your day involves utilizing RF scanning equipment and basic computer systems to track inventory, ensuring materials are moved accurately throughout the facility. You will work alongside team leads and coworkers to meet daily production goals while maintaining cleanliness and safety in your assigned work areas.

Work Schedule

This position offers flexibility across all shifts, including morning, evening, and overnight (graveyard) options. Shift lengths typically range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on production requirements. Candidates must be willing to adapt to varying conditions within the Material Handling environment.
