About the Role
The Material Handler is a key support role within our production operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility. This position exists to guarantee that production teams have the right materials available at the right time, maintaining food safety, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company standards.\n In this role, you will be the bridge between supply chain logistics and the production floor. Your day involves receiving, storing, staging, shipping, and distributing materials while utilizing equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and the QA team to verify material quality, document transactions in systems like SAP, and maintain a clean, GMP-compliant workspace. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in contributing to the operational success of the team.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare and stage raw materials according to production shop orders
- check_circleSafely load, unload, move, and store materials using forklifts and pallet jacks
- check_circlePerform shipping and receiving activities for incoming and outgoing materials
- check_circleReceive and document raw materials using the Bridor Paperless System and SAP
- check_circleMaintain accurate labeling of ingredients and materials including allergen and SAP labels
- check_circleStore dry, refrigerated, allergen, and non-allergen ingredients according to food safety standards
- check_circleProcess and document materials returned from production
- check_circlePerform inventory transactions and stock movements within SAP
- check_circleSupport month-end and year-end inventory audits
- check_circleMaintain clean, organized, and GMP-compliant work and storage areas
- check_circleCommunicate any food safety or quality concerns to the QA team immediately
Requirements
- verifiedPrevious warehouse, manufacturing, or food production experience preferred
