About the Opportunity
A-Line Staffing is currently recruiting for a Material Handler position in Manassas, VA, supporting a major healthcare company. This role offers a contract assignment with significant potential for permanent hire, contingent upon attendance, performance, and business needs. The position is full-time, requiring 40+ hours per week on a day shift schedule (Sunday through Tuesday, with alternating Wednesdays) featuring 12-hour shifts.
About the Role
You will serve as a vital link in the facility's operations, ensuring the accurate flow of materials and information. Your day will involve processing online transactions, receiving and delivering goods, and maintaining inventory through cycle counts, labeling, and stocking. You will interface directly with customers to translate orders into electronic requests and manage the preparation of shipping materials. A key component of this role is the operation of various material handling equipment, including forklifts, to move goods safely and efficiently. You will also assist with loading and unloading trucks, repackaging items for safe transit, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Benefits & Compensation
Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment. The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $16 to $17. Additionally, a 401(k) plan with a company match is available for full-time employees who have completed one year of service.
