The Material Handler plays a vital role in the efficient movement and storage of goods within our client's facility. This position is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the safe transport of finished goods from manufacturing to the shipping area.
In this role, you will operate hi-lo equipment to move materials and assign inventory locations to parts. A key part of your day involves completing receiving inspections, notifying the Shipping Coordinator of any damaged freight, and troubleshooting inventory errors. You will be responsible for securely loading machines onto pallets, verifying data for build sheets and QA documents, and wrapping and packaging machines for shipping. This includes blocking and bracing, applying protective layers, banding, and building crates according to strict SOP guidelines.
