About the Role

In this position, you will perform and assist with facility maintenance activities, ensuring buildings, equipment, and grounds operate efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace by adhering to safety management, EPA, and OSHA policies, while utilizing data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete preventative maintenance and repairs.

You will work independently with little direction, assisting others and interacting effectively even in difficult situations. The role requires a conscious concern for safety, including reporting unsafe conditions immediately and taking action to correct them. You will also support sanitation by keeping areas clean and neat, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies.

Working Environment

This role takes place in a refrigerated warehouse environment where temperatures can fluctuate, reaching as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. You will work in a noisy setting and may need to tolerate confined spaces, elevated heights, and weather emergencies. The position requires physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally, as well as the ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators, steel-toed footwear, and fall protection harnesses.

Schedule and Compensation

The standard working hours for this position are Sunday through Wednesday, from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm. The rate of pay is $21.50 per hour, with additional pay based on relevant work experience. The good faith estimate for the compensation range for this position is $21.50 - $25.80, though actual salaries vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
