About the Role
In this position, you will perform and assist with facility maintenance activities to ensure the efficient and safe operation of buildings, equipment, and grounds. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace by adhering to safety management, EPA, and OSHA policies, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Your day will involve using data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete preventative maintenance and repairs, while ensuring all paperwork is accurate and timely.
You will work with minimal direction, assisting others and interacting effectively even in difficult situations. A key part of your role is identifying and suggesting equipment or safety improvements, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, and taking action to correct them. You will also support sanitation by keeping areas clean and neat throughout your shift.
Working Environment
This role takes place in a refrigerated warehouse environment where temperatures can fluctuate, reaching as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. You will work in a noisy setting and may need to tolerate confined spaces, elevated heights, and weather emergencies. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally, as well as the physical stamina to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat on a continual basis. You must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, and insulated clothing, and pass a respirator fit test if required.
Schedule and Compensation
The standard working hours for this position are Sunday through Wednesday, from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm. The rate of pay is $21.50 per hour, with additional pay based on relevant work experience. Actual salaries may vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements
