We are supporting a fast-paced robotics-floor safety project in Rochester, NY. This initiative involves critical upgrades to ensure safety standards are met within an active warehouse environment. The project requires a dedicated team of Material Handlers, Installers, and a Forklift Operator to maintain workflow, manage inventory, and execute physical installation tasks alongside active robotics equipment.
This is a short-term contract opportunity (6–8 weeks) designed for individuals who thrive in active, hands-on environments. The roles are structured to provide consistent daytime hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM) while offering exposure to industrial safety upgrades and warehouse operations.
Material Handler You will be the backbone of the project's logistics, ensuring work areas remain clean, accessible, and organized. Your day will involve removing floor tape, staging inventory for installation teams, and keeping the warehouse flow efficient. Success in this role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to handle repetitive physical tasks with reliability.
Installer You will play a direct role in the physical safety upgrades by installing metal safety fencing on robotics floors. This position demands mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, and torque wrenches. You will work in a loud, high-activity environment, performing heavy lifting and maintaining a strict focus on safety protocols.
Forklift Operator You will be responsible for the movement, loading, and positioning of materials to support the installation and material handling teams. Your role is critical in maintaining inventory flow and ensuring that staging areas are organized. This position requires active forklift certification and a keen attention to safety in a busy project setting.
This contract offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with robotics-floor safety upgrades. It is ideal for those seeking consistent daytime work, a chance to bridge between roles, or a pathway to growth in installation and warehouse operations. The team values strong teamwork, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.
Candidates are encouraged to apply immediately as the position is anticipated to close on June 10, 2026. Please note that this is a fully onsite position in Rochester, NY.
