About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. You will learn product codes, know where product belongs, and keep the pre-blend cooler organized. The role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport raw product to and from coolers and production areas, as well as weighing and recording the weight of finished ground product.

Work Environment

Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting and carrying 60 pounds. The role requires moving between production areas, standing, stooping, bending, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in extremely cold temperatures. Team members will wear necessary safety equipment and visually inspect products.

Hiring Process

Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting their application to provide additional information to be considered for employment. Certain roles require background checks; if offered a position that requires one, you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson must adhere to a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to three times of employment.
