The Marketing Manager is a property-based role located at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, serving as the on-site marketing lead for both the Grand America Hotel and Little America Salt Lake City. Reporting directly to the Director of Hotel Marketing within the GAHR Salt Lake City office, this position is responsible for bringing brand strategy to life across these two flagship properties.
As the embedded marketing resource on the ground, you will be the primary point of contact for all marketing activities at both locations. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a dual-reporting environment, balancing the needs of the on-site General Managers with the strategic direction of the central marketing team. You will work closely with the Salt Lake City marketing team to execute content strategies, manage social channels, and ensure both properties remain vibrant and engaging.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of creative production, operational collaboration, and community management. You will be present across both properties, building strong relationships with department heads and operational teams to proactively identify content opportunities ranging from seasonal offerings and new menu items to property events.
You will serve as the on-property creative resource, producing high-quality video and photography for social media and managing all hotel social channels, including community engagement and response. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to leading influencer and journalist FAM visits, acting as the primary host and coordinator. Additionally, you will partner with hotel departments to concept, plan, and execute on-property events and promotions, ensuring that every activation aligns with brand standards and drives revenue.
Candidates selected for an interview will be expected to demonstrate a strong portfolio of visual content, including photography and video work suitable for social media. The selection process will focus on identifying individuals who can effectively manage competing priorities across two high-profile properties while maintaining a high level of creative output and operational awareness.
