About the Role
This position serves as a vital community liaison for AltaPointe, bridging the gap between the organization and the healthcare ecosystem across Southern Alabama, from Montgomery to Mobile. The role is designed to foster strategic relationships with businesses, hospitals, mental health professionals, and community agencies to ensure seamless access to care.
You will act as the face of AHS Hospital(s) in the region, educating doctors, nurses, counselors, and social workers on mental health and substance abuse issues through targeted training seminars and in-service briefings. Beyond education, you will manage the full lifecycle of community engagement: from identifying new business opportunities and securing conference sponsorships to coordinating care pathways with the Access to Care Department. Your efforts will directly support the organization's mission by driving admissions, ensuring billing compliance, and maintaining high-quality referral networks.
Day in the Life
Your day will be a dynamic mix of field work and strategic planning. You will navigate the territory to meet with stakeholders, conduct quality assurance surveys of referral sources, and respond rapidly to special service needs. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to internal collaboration, working with Public Relations to keep marketing materials current and with Hospital Administration to present quarterly business development plans and monthly admission reports. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records in Salesforce, tracking contacts, and ensuring all interactions align with professional codes of conduct and AltaPointe policies.

Requirements
