With a presence in both Albany and Troy, NY, we serve 2,500 students in grades K-12 across seven schools. Our mission is to ensure every student possesses the skills, ability, and confidence to pursue their paths to college, career, and beyond.
We operate on the belief that every individual walking through our school doors brings gifts—talent, perspective, drive, and inspiration. Our culture is built on supporting every student and educator to recognize these gifts and build the confidence needed to thrive. We are deeply committed to furthering anti-racism, equity, and racial justice in all our efforts, expecting all stakeholders to participate in this work to create a future without limits for our students.
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, stakeholder engagement, student recruitment, and organizational impact. Reporting to the Director of Communication and Organizational Impact, you will serve as a central point of coordination for internal and external communications across our schools and regional teams.
In this position, you will blend administrative support with creative storytelling. Your day-to-day involves crafting compelling narratives that highlight the achievements and culture of our community, managing digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring our brand voice remains consistent and impactful. You will collaborate closely with school leaders, academic teams, and development staff to align communication strategies with our broader goals. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful, lifelong difference in the lives of students, families, and educators while working in a dynamic, supportive environment that values diversity and inclusion.
While the biggest perk of working at KIPP Capital Region is the opportunity to contribute to a mission that transforms lives, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and growth. We provide flexible working arrangements, generous time off, industry-leading medical, dental, and vision coverage, and an aggressive employer 403(b) contribution match. Additional benefits include childcare support, a casual dress code, and a relocation stipend.
Our compensation is competitive and determined by an equitable scale that accounts for experience and longevity within the KIPP network. We foster a close-knit, diverse community where staff are encouraged to show up authentically, inspiring our children to do the same.
