About the Role

The Communications Coordinator plays an integral role in the Undergraduate Division's communications efforts. Reporting to the Associate Director of Communications, this position supports students' academic exploration and co-curricular engagement while upholding Wharton and University standards. The role involves updating and maintaining websites, drafting, formatting, and proofreading communications and marketing materials, coordinating content production, and ensuring consistent, brand-aligned messaging across platforms. This is a dynamic position within a fast-paced environment where you will help shape the narrative of one of the world's premier business schools.

Requirements

  • verifiedExperience creating or editing basic graphics (Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva)
  • verifiedExperience drafting, editing, formatting, and proofreading written communications
  • verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • verifiedFamiliarity with HTML and form builders (e.g., Gravity Forms)

Nice to Have

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and/or Illustrator. Experience supporting CampusGroups or similar enterprise community platform. Familiarity with basic analytics and reporting for websites, email campaigns, and/or social media (Google Analytics, Sprout Social). Familiarity with email marketing tools and e-newsletters, including content preparation and formatting (Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.). Working knowledge of brand standards and ability to apply them consistently across digital and print materials.
