We help our clients deliver vital services more efficiently while increasing the satisfaction of their end customers. Serco serves every branch of the U.S. military, numerous U.S. Federal civilian agencies, the Intelligence Community, the Canadian government, state, provincial and local governments, and commercial clients.

Wherever you work and whatever you do, we invite you to discover your place in our world. Serco is a place you can count on and where you can make an impact because every contribution matters.

About the Role

As a Marine Electrician based in Norfolk, VA, you will join a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations. Your work is vital to our mission to protect and serve our Military. You will join, fabricate, and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies by applying appropriate safety techniques. This work is performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring successful and safe operations. You will perform assignments that are not completely standardized, selecting or adapting standard procedures using applicable precedents. You will troubleshoot malfunctions, follow specific layout and scientific diagrams to construct devices, and conduct tests requiring subjective judgments in measurement. Additionally, you will compile engineering data from field notes and manuals, assist in design modifications, and develop information concerning previous operational failures. Your experience and judgment will be relied upon to plan and accomplish goals in environments with drafts, noise, and temperature variations.

Hiring Process

If you are interested in supporting and working with our team across the globe on a passionate, talented, and diverse Serco team, submit your application now for immediate consideration. It only takes a few minutes and could change your career. Military Veterans and Spouses are encouraged to apply.

Please note, due to EEOC/OFCCP compliance, Serco is unable to accept resumes by email. Candidates may be asked to present proof of identity during the selection process, which will require presentation of a government-issued I.D. (with photo) matching the application information. The application window for this position is for no more than 60 days; we encourage candidates to apply promptly as the position may close earlier if filled.
