This position serves as a critical support function for maintaining the safety and reliability of electrical systems aboard vessels. The role is designed for a hands-on professional who ensures that powerboats and sailboats remain operational through proactive maintenance, precise troubleshooting, and effective repairs. You will be the first line of defense against electrical failures, working directly with generators, switchboards, motors, and distribution panels to keep the fleet running smoothly.
In this capacity, you will not only diagnose and fix faults using advanced testing equipment but also supervise the installation and alteration of complex electrical systems. The role demands a balance of technical precision and physical adaptability, as you will frequently work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs in varying conditions. Beyond technical execution, you will play a key role in team development by directing and training other employees on proper installation and maintenance procedures.
Candidates with previous experience as a Marine Electrician are highly preferred. We look for individuals who demonstrate a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements, alongside a professional appearance and courteous personality. The ideal candidate is ready to work in diverse conditions, including bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods to execute normal job duties.

Experience with HVAC ducting, piping, cabling (copper and fiber), equipment racks, lockers/furniture, fiddle boards, connection boxes, power panels, lighting, antennas/radomes, multi-pin/fiber optic/RF connectors, and cable tags/wire markers. Previous experience as a Marine Electrician.
