We are seeking a Marine Education Consultant to help grow and strengthen Blue Tech Academy (BTA). This is a contracted role starting at roughly 10–15 hours per week, with significant potential to evolve into one of the first full-time positions at a new marine technology nonprofit where BTA operates as the flagship program.
You will work at the intersection of curriculum, community-building, and program operations. The ideal candidate brings a background in marine science or ocean-related fields and is genuinely excited about connecting students of all ages to ocean careers and exploration through accessible marine technology.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a program that is still finding its form. You won't just be executing tasks; you will be helping define what BTA becomes. For the right person, this is a chance to grow with the program and take on a larger role as the nonprofit builds out its access, culture, and education initiatives—connecting communities to accessible marine technology at scale.
